Sales Engineer

We love our customers and we care about their success, a lot. We want them to create the best possible content while having the best possible experience doing so using the Contently platform. Therefore, we’re looking for a passionate sales engineer to help our customers successfully integrate Contently into their technology stacks. This includes our proprietary Analytics tracker, CMS integrations, our APIs, Single Sign on, and many more good things.

You’ll also work with our Product and Engineering teams to identify, define and implement the APIs and tools required on our side. You’ll also work with freelance developers to build out the additional modules to connect Contently with CMSs.  Finally, information security reviews is also something you’d be tasked with managing together with our DevOps team.You’ll be given great ownership, but are required to be a self-starter and self-organized.

What you’ll do:

  • Work closely with our customer success team

  • Support customers in successfully implementing our proprietary content tracking code

  • Help customers implement Contently APIs into their CMSs

  • Configure Contently platform to match customer’s organizational and taxonomy set ups

  • Own the customer implementation from gathering requirements, coordinating with customers and their development teams, to the successful launch
  • Respond to customer security audits

  • Work with product and engineering teams to build new and enhance existing APIs based on customer needs
  • Oversee freelance developers creating modules / plugin to integrate Contently APIs into common CMSs


Who you are:

  • 3+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in the marketing technology space.

  • Successful experience at a startup, i.e. solving tough unstructured problems with little supervision, self organized, fast paced.

  • You understand SaaS, you understand APIs, you love integrating them.

  • Familiar with (enterprise) CMSs, e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, but also familiar with the usual suspects (Wordpress, Drupal, …).

  • Experienced with trackers / tracking pixels, troubleshooting them, all that stuff.
